Free AI Object Remover with No Signup and No Watermark on Downloads
Erase objects free with no account and no watermark on the download. Honest limits, privacy, and how PixRemover compares with on-device tools.
Short answer: Yes. PixRemover lets you erase objects without an account: anonymous visitors get 2 free removals every rolling 24 hours (5 if you sign in, still free), and free downloads carry no PixRemover watermark at up to 1920px on the long side. The honest limits: the free quota is small, there is no batch processing (one photo at a time), and full resolution needs paid credits. If you need unlimited edits and the photo must never leave your device, an on-device LaMa tool (covered below) is the better fit.

What "no signup, no watermark" means on PixRemover
- No account to try it: open any of the four tools, drop a photo in, paint, click Remove. Nothing asks for an email first.
- No brand watermark on downloads: free results are clean. We don't stamp a logo in the corner as the price of using the free tier.
- The trade-off is size, not branding: free downloads are resized so the long side is at most 1920px. A 4032×3024 iPhone photo comes back at 1920×1440. Paid credits give the original resolution.
- A rolling quota, not a daily reset: each free removal comes back 24 hours after you used it. Signing in raises it from 2 to 5. The object, people, text and watermark tools share one quota.
- Retries count: "Try another result" reruns your strokes on a second AI model and uses one removal. If an attempt fails, its removal (or credit) is returned.
How it compares with other no-signup tools
The real difference between no-signup removers is where the AI runs. On-device tools download a model into your browser and never upload anything; server tools send the photo out and run a larger model on GPUs.
| Tool | Where your photo goes | Free resolution | Free quota | Watermark |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PixRemover | Brushed area sent encrypted to fal.ai; not stored by PixRemover, result expires within 1 hour | Up to 1920px long side; original with credits | 2 per rolling 24h (5 signed in) | None |
| Wipe.photos | Stays on your device (LaMa in the browser) | Not capped by the site; PNG | Unlimited | None |
| Inpainting.app | Stays on your device (28MB or 93MB model download) | Original size; PNG | Unlimited | None |
| Cleanup.pictures | Uploaded to its servers (Clipdrop) | 720p free; full size on Pro | Unlimited | None stated |
| Local LaMa (e.g. IOPaint) | Your own computer; nothing leaves it | Original size | Unlimited | None |
When PixRemover is the better pick: you want newer server-side models, which generally fill large areas, people and busy backgrounds more convincingly than the 2021 LaMa model most on-device tools use, you're on a phone or an older laptop where a 90MB in-browser model is slow, or you want a dedicated people, text or watermark tool rather than one generic brush.
When an on-device tool is the better pick: you have dozens of photos, you need unlimited free edits at original size, or your rules say a photo may never leave the device. Local tools like IOPaint need a Python install but give you full control.
The honest limits
- Small free quota. 2 or 5 removals per rolling day suits a few photos, not a whole album.
- No batch. One photo at a time, by design: every removal is a brush job you check by eye.
- 1920px free cap. Plenty for social and screens; not for large prints.
- No saved history. We don't keep your photos, so there's no gallery to come back to. Download before you leave.
- Legit use only. The watermark and text tools are for images you own or may edit. See is it legal to remove a watermark.
FAQ
Do you store my photo?
No. Until you click Remove, the photo stays in your browser. On Remove, the area around your brush strokes is sent over an encrypted connection to fal.ai for processing; PixRemover doesn't save photos or results in its database or file storage, fal.ai is instructed not to store the request, and the result file expires automatically within an hour. Download before you close the tab. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Can I use HEIC photos from my iPhone?
Yes in Safari, on iPhone or Mac, which opens HEIC natively. Chrome, Firefox and Edge on most systems cannot decode HEIC, so convert it to JPG first, or set the iPhone camera to Most Compatible (Settings → Camera → Formats). JPG, PNG and WebP up to 25MB work everywhere.
Should I use the people, text or watermark tool instead of the object remover?
Use the tool that matches what you are erasing. The people remover is tuned to fill in background rather than draw a new person; the text remover handles captions, signs and stamps with tight strokes; the watermark remover handles logos and semi-transparent or tiled overlays. All four share the same free quota. Guides: objects, people, text, watermarks.
When should I buy credits?
Buy credits when you need more than 2 to 5 removals a day, need the full original resolution instead of the 1920px free cap, or want to remove a watermark from a video. Packs start at $4.99 for 40 credits, 1 credit is 1 removal, pack credits never expire, and a failed attempt refunds its credit. See pricing.
