About PixRemover
What PixRemover is, how it removes objects, people, text and watermarks, which AI models it uses, and how it handles your photos.

PixRemover is a browser-based AI photo cleanup tool. You paint over something you don't want in a photo (an object, a person, a caption, a watermark) and AI rebuilds the background behind it. It launched in September 2026 at pixremover.com.
PixRemover is an independent product. It isn't affiliated with Adobe, Google, Canva or the AI model providers it uses.
What it does
- Object remover: clutter, signs, cars, cables and other things in the frame
- People remover: tourists, photobombers and passers-by, filled with background rather than another person
- Text remover: captions, date stamps, signs and overlays
- Watermark remover: logos, text stamps and tiled overlays on photos you have the right to edit
- Video watermark remover: a fixed watermark painted once and cleaned from every frame of a clip up to 30 seconds
How it works
- You upload a photo. Until you click Remove, it stays in your browser.
- You brush over what should go. PixRemover sends the area around your strokes, with some surrounding context, over an encrypted connection to fal.ai, which runs the AI models.
- The model fills the brushed area, and your browser puts the result back into your original photo. Pixels outside your brush are not changed.
Photo removals run on two models, Bria Eraser and FLUX.1 Fill [pro]: each tool uses the one that suits its job first (FLUX for watermarks, Bria for the rest), and Try another result reruns your strokes on the other one for a second opinion. Video uses Bria's video erase model.
What we stand by
- Free to try without an account. 2 free removals every rolling 24 hours, 5 when you sign in. Details are on Pricing.
- No watermark on downloads, free or paid. Free downloads are capped at 1920px on the long side; credits give full resolution.
- Your photos aren't kept. We don't store photos or results, and the processing provider's result file expires within an hour. See the Privacy Policy.
- Honest limits. One photo at a time, no batch processing, and AI fills can need a second pass on busy backgrounds.
- Legitimate use only. The watermark and text tools are for images you own or may edit; see the Terms of Service and Is it legal to remove a watermark?.
