Copyright Policy

PixRemover respects the rights of creators and photographers. Our Terms of Service require users to edit only images they have the right to edit, and prohibit using PixRemover to remove watermarks, copyright notices or other ownership information from images they don't have the right to edit.

What we store

PixRemover doesn't host or publish user images: photos are processed to produce a result and are not kept on our servers (see our Privacy Policy). There is usually no copy on PixRemover to take down. We still act on reports of users misusing the Service to infringe copyright, including by restricting or terminating their accounts.

Reporting infringement

If you believe PixRemover is being used to infringe your copyright, email support@pixremover.com with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:

1. Your name, address, phone number and email address.
2. A description of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed.
3. As much detail as you can about the infringing use — for example where the edited image was published, and any account or order details you know of.
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Notices that meet these requirements are consistent with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). Knowingly making a false claim of infringement may make you liable for damages.

Counter-notices

If action was taken against your account and you believe it was a mistake or that you had the right to edit the image, you can send us a counter-notice at the same address with your contact details, a description of what was affected, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed or restricted by mistake, and your signature.

Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
